The Town of Clayton Road & Maintenance Shop is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the towns 72+ miles of roads. The services range from pothole repairs to snow removal in the winter months. The crew also removes debris from the roads and ditches.
The Road crew does not pick up discarded Christmas trees. The town has a yard waste drop off site for your convenience located at the corner of County Road II and Hickory Avenue. The site is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. until noon and on Thursdays noon until 7:00 p.m. The yard waste site will only be open on Saturday mornings during the months of December through March.
