Emergency Medical Responders

Overview

The Clayton Fire Rescue EMRs, in conjunction with Gold Cross Ambulance, respond to emergency calls in the Town of Clayton. The Clayton EMRs officially went into service on March 31, 1995. Their first call was taken in April of 1995, and by the year's end, they had responded to a total of 52 calls. These calls included medical, trauma, and automobile accidents, and stand-by on fire department calls. Along with responding to medical emergencies, the Emergency Medical Responders:

  • Assist with emergency medical coverage at various events in the community.
  • Hold educational sessions at area schools and at various group meetings.
  • Participate in community events.

Squad Meetings

Squad meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at the Larsen station at 6:30 p.m.
