PUBLIC WORKS LABORER
TOWN OF CLAYTON
Public Works Laborer:
This is a full-time position performing routine maintenance and repairs to streets including but not limited to sign installation, painting traffic markings, cold patching and plowing snow. Other duties include mowing, tree trimming, maintaining and repairing equipment, infrastructure and park facilities. The employee will also assist other Town Departments and respond to emergency situations when necessary. This position may require working nights, weekends and holidays.
This position is of a physical nature and requires working outside in different weather conditions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must have and maintain a valid State of
Wisconsin CDL or be able to obtain CDL. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of public works facilities, infrastructure and operations and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Residency within 15 miles of the Town limits is required.
